Named for Gervais Street in the heart of the Vista, The Gervais is one of our most popular rooms. Located on the first floor, The Gervais boasts a beautiful four-poster King-sized bed, a seating area, and private bath with a claw-footed bathtub. Guests can enjoy a view of the front porch from the bay windows. The large, deep soaking claw-foot tub and gravity-fed commode offer ambiance of the old-south to your private en suite.
In honor of Columbia, the capitol of South Carolina, this room provides guests a tranquil and elegant retreat. Featuring a King-sized canopy bed, a twin-sized pull-out sofa bed, and whirlpool bathtub, The Capitol is sure to please. The Capitol features a whirlpool bath large enough for two with a cascading water faucet.
Magnolias are gorgeous flowers that reflect the beauty and grace of the South. Mirrored in The Magnolia on our first floor, this room truly embodies the feel and warmth of an old Southern Plantation. Opposite The Gervais, The Magnolia features a King-sized bed, bay windows, seating area, and an ADA accessible bathroom.
Webster defines vista, “a distant view through or along an avenue”. The vista from our suite “The Vista” is of the downtown area of our beautiful city. The three windows on the front bowed wall look out across Richland Street letting light fill this suite. Sip a glass of your favorite beverage in the cozy rocking chairs just outside on the Vista second floor balcony. The Vista allows you peaceful enjoyment of your own inn get-away in this intimate queen size bed suite.
The Rivers Suite
The convergence of rivers in Columbia lends the name to this two room suite, “The Rivers Suite”. On the second floor, this handsome suite has a balcony overlooking Richland Street. The Rivers Suite is our only two room suite, with a queen bed in the main bedroom, with a full bed and a twin bed in the adjoined room. The suite is complimented by the largest bathroom in the inn, which boasts a whirlpool tub.
Named for Laurel Street which connects the river bank to Columbia's Historic District, The Laurel is a great room for families.
